Close up!
An installation based on the importance of the insignificant / what we see or what we choose to ignore. The installation is an image game with the purpose of provoking the awareness of how we judge everything even when we don't get to see the "whole picture".

The conceptual process brought in a a theory of how we all have two different smiles therefor two different appearances. A pure and a fake one. This parallel might be incorporated in any visual appearance. And so the image game carried a new rule. Reality versus a fake facade. The final question to answer would be: What action do we have to take to see the reality? And so the game may begin.

Step 1: Add campaign for Reuters press photography in blown up fragments leading somewhere.

Step 2: Fragments leading towards the museum of contemporary art (MACBA) in barcelona which as everybody carries two faces. The fake one would be its general appearance as a museum during the day and the pure one would be its usage as a shelter by homeless people during the night.

Step 3: The fragments starts to come together the closer it gets to the museum and frames in the pure side of the museum but continues to climb in to the museum.

Step 4: With an expectation of getting to see a massive image of the whole picture in relation to the previous fragments the game takes a turn and and shrinks down to its original size we once got to see in the papers.

What action do we have to take to see the reality? - nothing but making a CLOSE UP once in a while.
